Alnwick Garden Trip 5th Mar 05 (Sat)
Hmm...first time since we are here Win Win is not joining us for this trip up to Alnwick. She has to do her project and is abit behind her schedule so in the end Yew Keng and me decided to go together. Alnwick is a small town district up in the Northeast Northumberland.
So after checking out on the website we found out that travelling by bus is much cheaper by train althou train is like 22min bus is like 1hr10min. So we decided to get the daily saver pass ticket which costs us £4.50 pound per person. The day din start quite well as it was drizzling in Newcastle so we are hoping as we get to Alnwick the weather will be bright n sunny. At 0945h we boarderd the bus from haymarket bus station which is about 10 min walk from our hall. True enough as our bus drove into Morpeth the sun is bright n everything seems so good. Me listening on my mp3 player and looking at the beautiful meadows from outside my window....Since we are sitting on the upper deck of the bus it gave us a better view....as u can see in the pic below cute little rams are grazing happily in the open green meadows ^^
Finally at 1130hr we reached Alnwick gosh we took the wrong service this stupid 518 bus makes so many detours round the countryside....we realize that service 505/ 515 is the fastest so we decide to take it back to newcastle later.
Next week going to Saltwell Towers, Gateshead.
Cute little rams grazing in the open meadows.
